2020 was a challenging year for staff and clients alike. Staff risked their health to continue to provide life-saving services to people who undertook the daunting task of getting sober in the middle of a worldwide pandemic that cut many off from resources so vital to this process. Still, we all look forward to 2021 with gratitude and hope. Gratitude for things many of us barely notice every day — a warm and dry place to live, a comfortable bed, indoor plumbing. Hope that this year will be better and they will rebuild their lives in sobriety. Our wish for everyone is that we never forget to be grateful for what we have and never lose hope in the promise of the future. Happy New Year!
Support The Emergency Fund
After 40 years, it’s easy for all of us to take for granted Stepping Stone’s place in our recovery and LGBTQIA+ communities. Recent circumstances showed us that we must always be prepared to deal with the sudden and unexpected. For that reason, we ask you to support the Emergency Fund. This fund ensures that when faced with unforeseen difficulties, we will be able to continue to provide the services that have saved thousands of lives without interruption.
