Eric Chavez, MD, is a psychiatrist and addiction medicine specialist currently serving as the Associate Medical Director and Principal Investigator at Artemis Institute for Clinical Research. He conducts clinical research studies on the safety and efficacy of new medications for conditions such as addiction, Alzheimer’s dementia, depression, and schizophrenia. An advocate for the LGBTQ+ community, Eric champions access to cutting-edge treatments for addiction and mental illness. He has been serving as Secretary of the Stepping Stone board of directors since 2022 and previously served as the medical director from 2017-2021 and on the board from 2003-2005.
