Director of Government Relations, San Diego County Regional Airport Authority

Matt Harris is the Director of Government Relations at the San Diego County Regional Airport Authority, where he has held various senior positions since 2005. Before moving to San Diego, he spent a decade in Washington, D.C., in senior roles with the U.S. Secretary of Transportation and the U.S. House of Representatives. In the aviation industry, he serves as Vice Chair of the Airports Council International – North America Facilitation Committee. Additionally, Matt chairs the Board of Visitors at the University of North Carolina School of the Arts (UNCSA) and is President of The Semans Art Fund. He holds a Master of Science in Executive Leadership from the University of San Diego and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Communication from The George Washington University.
