Stepping Stone of San Diego is seeking sealed bids from licensed, qualified General Contractors for the renovation of our lower-level garage into clinical space at our facility located at 3767 Central Ave., San Diego, CA 92105. This is a fixed-price contract not to exceed $830,000. The selected contractor will also be responsible for onboarding a design team to complete permit-ready construction drawings.
An optional pre-bid job walk will be held on April 15, 2025, at 10:00 AM PST. Bid packages will be available at the walk or upon request by emailing rowsiany@kcmgroup.net. All updates and changes to the RFP will be posted at www.steppingstonesd.org.
All inquiries must be submitted by April 30, 2025, at 5:00 PM PST. Sealed bids must be submitted by May 20, 2025, at 9:00 AM PST, either in person to our Central Ave. location or electronically to rowsiany@kcmgroup.net and rquinlan@steppingstonesd.org. Bids will be publicly opened the same day at 10:00 AM PST.
This project is funded through HUD’s Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) program and is subject to all applicable federal, state, and local requirements including Davis-Bacon prevailing wages and Section 3 compliance.
